The ROUNDLAB Birch Juice Moisturizing Sun Cream (SPF 50+ PA++++) is a chemical sunscreen that offers protection against both UVA- and UVB rays. Since this sunscreen is rich in hyaluronic acid, it also doubles as a moisturizer.
One of the most important factors of aging and the development of hyperpigmentation and melasma is (excessive) exposure of the sun. We separate three kinds of UV rays: UVA (UVA1 has a reach off 340-400 nm and UVA2 has a reach of 320-340 nm), UVB (320-280 nm) and UVC (280-100 nm). UVC is blocked by the ozone layer, so we aren't exposed to rays under 280 nm.
UV Filters:
- Uvinal A plus (320-400 nm), Uvinul T 150 (280-320nm), Tinosorb-M (280-400 nm), Iscotrizinol (UVA2-UVB).
Features:
- Niacinamide: Stimulates natural ceramide-production and fades hyperpigmentation. Leads to firm, even-toned skin.
- Tocopherol, vitamin E: A crucial, oil soluble antioxidant in skin. Protects skin from free radical damage and makes skin more resilient against UV rays.
